The Camp Verde Unified School District special needs preschool offers developmental screening for ages 3 through 5 in the developmental domains of communication, adaptive behavior, social-emotional skills, cognitive skills, and motor skills. Hearing and vision will also be screened.
If you have any preschool children ages 3 to 5, or know of a child age 3 to 5 who is in need of a developmental screening, please contact Mrs. Amy Settle, Preschool Teacher, at (928) 203-2682 to schedule an appointment. The Camp Verde Unified School District is responsible for identifying, locating and evaluating all children with disabilities ages 3 through 21, and for referring children from birth through 2 years of age to Arizona Early Intervention (AzEIP) for evaluation and appropriate services. Children birth through 2 years of age who are receiving early intervention services and will be participating in pre-school programs for children with disabilities will be assured a smooth transition into that program. If you have a child who is 0-2 years of age and are concerned about your child's development please call (928) 567-8235 for an AzEIP referral.
